Everything deserves to thrive, our planet included. So on Earth Day, let’s take a chance to commit to protecting it! This year we are all rallying behind the theme ‘Planet vs. Plastics’ to address the plastics crisis and aspire towards a plastic-free future. We’ve teamed up with the Highland Community Waste Partnership to bring you a special blog showcasing the people behind the innovative waste reduction initiatives in the Highlands & Islands. Evie and Ullapool Unpacked are taking strides in Ullapool to reduce wastage by providing a food refill space. The climate fight is not about 1 person making a huge change, it’s about everybody making small changes, and using refill shops is a great way to streamline your food consumption and save money!
