Our members are an eclectic and vibrant mix of passionate individuals, community groups, businesses, and partner organisations. Each are unique in the ways in which they tackle the climate emergency, engage with their communities and stakeholders and how they take climate action.
This uniqueness is thanks to the widespread geographical location of our members. What works for an organisation in Shetland isn’t necessarily what will work for one in Inverness or Lochaber. And this, is one of the best bits of our jobs. Hearing from members on what they’re working on and their approaches to engage their target audiences is fascinating and the more we work with members, the more we learn. We work hard to recruit our staff team from the communities they represent so that they’re in the best position to either know, or get to know the residents within their patch.
It is our goal to grow our membership continuously by offering an outstanding service which becomes invaluable to the organisation.
Members are a team, we share one another’s successes and challenges and support one another at any opportunity.
