Filmed over the Summer of 2023 by film-maker Cameron Mackay in close association with the Highlands & Islands Climate Hub. Our film, Climate Action Highlands & Islands tells the stories of our Members taking positive action in their communities to combat climate change. We’re delighted to now make our film available for online viewing and provide all of the information you need to host a screening of Climate Action Highland & Islands in your own community.
Across the Highlands and Islands, bold and resourceful communities are taking action to combat the climate emergency. Meet the inspirational characters behind this innovative sustainability work and take a journey from Fort William’s up cycling enterprises to Shetland’s Polycrub community growing infrastructure.
This film tells the story of a selection of the Highlands and Islands Climate Hub’s inspiring members as they showcase why the region is such a special place for taking action on climate change.
