Highland Climate Charter

The Highland Adapts Climate Advocates Team represent communities and organisations across the Highland area. Working in partnership the team have developed the Highland Climate Charter. The aim of the Highland Climate Charter is to raise awareness of climate change, its impacts and to build a momentum across Highland where individuals, communities, organisations and businesses are working together towards a transformational and prosperous climate ready Highland.

The Highland Climate Charter launched during the Highland Climate Festival (25th June - 3rd July 2022) and we are asking individuals and community groups across the region to sign the Highland Climate Charter committing to taking climate action in our everyday lives. We hope to build a momentum from individuals and communities signing the Highland Climate Charter.

By signing the Highland Climate Charter signatories commit to 5 ways to take climate action.
