Luci is the Community Development Officer for the East Caithness and Sutherland area of the Highlands.

Previously, Luci was the local postie in Thurso, and has a background is in hospitality, horses, and agriculture, and is currently studying at UHI. Before moving to Caithness in 2015 Luci had spent her childhood near Aviemore. Growing up near Aviemore has given her a wide range of knowledge around Scotland’s nature and biodiversity, and she spent a lot of time with the RSPB learning about peatlands and pine woodlands.

Luci is excited to be involved in building relationships between communities and encouraging everyone to voice their opinions on how we can take climate action. Outside of work, She enjoys spending time out and about with her partner, horses, and dogs. If there is a hill to walk up you will likely find her there!
